Details on Benoit Texts, Son Had Needle Marks

Writing from an interview with district attorney Scott Ballard, ESPN.com revealed details on the text messages Chris Benoit sent to a “coworker” (who many believe to be Chavo Guerrero) over the weekend.
The first message noted that his wife and son were sick—”Of course, they were dead,” Ballard said to ESPN. The second, presumably an attempt to get somebody to come discover the bodies, explained that the door to his house was open and the pets were outside.
Additionally, Ballard told ESPN that needle marks were discovered on the body of son Daniel. The assumption at press time was that the family had been administering him human growth hormone injections due to the belief that he was undersized.
