WWE Confirms John Cena’s Status For The Rumble

Will Cena wrestle at the Royal Rumble?
Although there should not have been any doubt, WWE.com officially confirmed Thursday that John Cena will defend his WWE Championship at Royal Rumble.
Following the beatdown he suffered on RAW, storyline speculation suggested that Cena might not be able to face Umaga in Sunday’s scheduled Last Man Standing match. But the new WWE.com update confirms that despite his “severe abdominal injuries,” he will compete as scheduled.
WWE.com said that John Cena could “not be reached for comment.”
