WWE Promises Major SmackDown! Announcement

Big announcement on Friday’s show

WWE confirmed this weekend that Theodore Long will make a major announcement on Friday’s SmackDown regarding the Royal Rumble and the World Heavyweight Championship.

The rest of the show will be a retrospective of the biggest 2006 SmackDown! moments. The WWE.com preview mentions Batista’s return and Mysterio’s rise to the top of the roster as the two events worthy of focus on the special.
