ECW Rating, Interesting Jake Roberts/TNA Pitch

– Tuesday’s ECW on Sci-Fi telecast posted a 1.9/3 rating, which is down from last week’s 2.3. While that might appear to be disappointing based on the news that Vince McMahon believed Paul Heyman vs. Sabu would be a ratings draw, the percentage drop-off was almost identical to the viewership loss RAW faced by airing on Sci-Fi instead of USA this week (which was less dramatic than WWE anticipated). Thus, the most newsworthy item stemming from the ECW rating is the apparent proof that ECW’s rating does directly depend on promotion during the RAW telecast.
Quarterly breakdown: 1.9, 1.8, 1.7, 1.9 and 2.0
– According to one source, Jake Roberts pitched a storyline to TNA that would have seen him help a fan break a drug addiction.
