Backstage WWE Vengeance News

– While many do feel putting the WWE Championship match so low on the card devalues the belt, the logic was simply that the DeGeneration X match was responsible for selling the PPVs and thus needed to be at the top of the card. Cena’s match received higher placement because Vince McMahon has instructed the booking team to treat Cena as a Rock/Hogan level star.
– There was disappointment that Kane vs. Kane drew such a poor reaction from the crowd, as there are still many weeks left in the angle.
– Plans for the Foley-Flair match were likely changed at some point, as it went shorter than most believed was the plan. The angle will obviously continue, likely through Summerslam.
