Backstage Details On Recent WWE Release

News broke recently that OVW’s Chris Cage, who was to be called up to the main WWE roster as Mike Mizanin’s tag partner, was released from the company.
According to sources, Cage’s release was punishment for excessive partying that landed him in the hospital.
Following a trip to South Padre Island to film partying vignettes with The Miz, Cage decided to party for real in Louisville—he ended up taking it too far.
With WWE focused on its new Talent Wellness program, it could not excuse Cage’s actions and released him from the roster.
