Christian’s decision to wave goodbye to an unhappy life as a WWE wrestler has made him a hero amongst disgruntled workers.
“The biggest hero of the week is Christian for quitting on his own terms,” an insider said. “He’s more of a dressing room hero than Jericho, who worked out his notice and stuck around for the Monday Night Raw the night after SummerSlam. Christian is seen as someone who was being pushed into a low downside, and walked out on his own terms.”
As was the case with Jericho, Christian’s frugal lifestyle allowed him to save enough money to confidently leave WWE and its salary.
