– In what has to be viewed as a shot to TNA’s plans to feature White Sox catcher AJ Pierzynski on iMPACT, WWE.com notes that Dmitri Young of the Detroit Tigers is backstage at tonight’s PPV. Young will be sitting at ringside for the event.
– In a kayfabe note, Kurt Angle and Daivari walked out of Eric Bischoff’s office this afternoon with big smiles on their faces. WWE.com attributed their expressions to confidence, obviously furthering the “against the odds” battle John Cena will have in the title match tonight.
