Interesting News On The WWE Draft Lottery

April 25th, 2005 by Brian Cantor

Could the draft not take place as originally rumored?

In what is definitely making for some interesting speculation, WWE is currently planning to run a SmackDown! house show the night after Judgment Day. The rumor currently going around is that WWE will hold the draft on the RAW that follows Judgment Day, but with the SD roster seemingly unavailable, there are a number of options.

_ The SD house show could be postponed until another date, allowing for the workers to be present.

_ SD wrestlers will not be present for the draft.

_ There will be a joint feed between the site of RAW and the site of SD, with the draft also taking place in front of the house show audience.

_ The draft will begin on RAW and continue on SmackDown!

_ The draft, as a whole, will move to SmackDown!

_ WWE might choose to run the draft on another night (although this seems unlikely, since the Memorial Day holiday could affect ratings if the draft were not held on the currently rumored date).
