– Despite media claims that WWE’s failure to renew The Rock’s contract was the result of ‘administrative oversight,’ the feeling is that there was definitely more at play than an incompetent front office clerk. Various insider sources feel WWE’s claims that it was all ‘an accident’ are not only at least partially false, but also mar the professional image of WWE - a top company would not allow such an accident to take place.
– Although it may change due to recent storylines, WWE.com is still advertising Batista vs. Chris Benoit for tonight’s show.
